Custom Hydrofoil Systems from a Foil System Manufacturer in China

4S Sports is a hydrofoil manufacturer in China designing and building complete foil systems for brands, distributors, and retailers worldwide. Every system we ship is a fully engineered set — mast, fuselage, front wing, stabilizer, top plate, and hardware — developed to work as one, so your riders get balanced lift, predictable handling, and reliable assembly out of the box. From low-aspect wings that make learning easy to high-aspect wings built for downwind glide and race speed, we produce the full range under your brand, with OEM and ODM programs, flexible order quantities, and strict quality control on every set.

  • A Complete Foil System — Every Component from One Factory

Sourcing masts from one supplier and wings from another creates tolerance mismatches, inconsistent finishes, and warranty headaches. We manufacture the complete foil system in-house, so every interface fits and every set rides exactly as designed:

  • Masts — CNC-machined aluminum or full-carbon construction, in multiple lengths to suit each discipline

  • Fuselages — machined aluminum or carbon, in short, medium, and long options to tune turning response against straight-line stability

  • Front wings — the lift engine of the system; carbon-composite construction over a precision core, in low-, mid-, and high-aspect designs

  • Stabilizers (rear wings) — sized and profiled to match each front wing for balanced pitch control

  • Top plates — standard track-mount interface that drops straight into dual US foil tracks

  • Hardware — stainless steel and titanium fasteners, T-nuts, and helicoil-reinforced inserts for corrosion resistance and repeatable assembly

  • Front Wings Tuned to the Discipline

Front wing design decides how a foil rides. We build wings across the aspect-ratio spectrum so your brand can target every segment of the market:

  • Low-aspect wings — early lift and forgiveness

Short, wider-chord wings (around AR 5) that generate lift at low speeds and stay stable and predictable through turns. The forgiving choice for beginner programs, wing-foil entry, surf and prone foiling, and playful, carvy riding.

  • Funboards and mid-lengths

Versatile shapes that bridge shortboards and longboards, offering easier paddling and wave entry without giving up maneuverability.

  • Mid-aspect wings — the all-rounders

A balanced blend of lift, stability, and maneuverability for general wing foiling, SUP foil, and wake — one wing family that covers the broadest rider base.

  • High-aspect wings — glide and speed

Long, narrow wings (AR 7 and above) with thin, efficient profiles for exceptional glide, higher top-end speed, and efficient pumping. Built for downwind, race, and light-wind wing programs; best suited to experienced riders.

Each front wing is paired with a matched stabilizer, and fuselage length can be selected to fine-tune the ride — shorter fuselages turn tighter, longer fuselages track straighter.

  • OEM & ODM Customization — Your Brand, Our Factory

Bring us CAD files, a reference foil, or a performance brief — our engineering team develops the wing profiles, section shapes, layup schedules, and extrusion tooling to your specification. Customization can cover wing outline and area, aspect ratio, mast and fuselage lengths, graphics, and packaging. For ODM programs, we co-develop entirely new wing families from a blank page under NDA. Tooling, sample approval, tolerances, and intellectual-property terms are agreed before mass production.

  • Materials & Manufacturing Built for Salt Water

Salt water punishes weak materials and sloppy joints. Our construction choices reflect that:

  • Aluminum components: 6061 alloy for mast extrusions, selected for its strength-to-weight ratio; 7075 alloy for fuselages and high-load interfaces where stresses concentrate. Every aluminum part is anodized for corrosion resistance.

  • Carbon components: full-carbon masts and carbon-composite wings, laid up and molded for stiffness where it matters most — the mast-to-fuselage junction and the wing root.

  • Precision machining: CNC-machined mating surfaces and hardware seats for a consistent, play-free fit across every set, with stainless steel helicoil inserts in threaded interfaces so hardware assembles smoothly season after season.

  • Quality Control on Every Set

Every foil system passes multi-stage inspection before it ships: mast straightness and wing span checked against the approved spec, fit verification of every mast-to-fuselage and wing-to-fuselage interface, torque and pull checks on hardware seats, surface-finish inspection, and a full dry-fit assembly of each set. Finished sets ship in export-grade protective packaging, If a set doesn't meet spec, it doesn't ship — it's that simple.

  • Flexible MOQ & Dependable Lead Times

Whether you're launching your first foil line or scaling an established range, our programs adapt to your stage: flexible minimum order quantities, mixed wing and mast combinations, and transparent production scheduling. Typical sample lead time is 20 days, mass production runs 5-6 weeks after sample approval. We ship FOB and CIF or EXW, with all export documentation handled by our team. Pair our foil systems with our custom foil boards to offer your dealers a complete, matched board-and-foil program from a single factory.

  • FAQ
  • What is included in a complete foil system?

Every set includes a mast, fuselage, front wing, stabilizer, top plate, and full hardware — everything your customer needs to mount the foil to a compatible foil board.

  • Can you develop custom wing profiles from our designs?

Yes. Send us CAD files, a reference foil, or a detailed performance brief, and our engineering team will develop the wing profiles, layup, and tooling to match. We can also co-develop an entirely new wing family from scratch under NDA.

  • Should we choose aluminum or carbon for our market?

Aluminum systems offer the best value and durability — a strong fit for schools, rental fleets, and entry-level programs. Carbon systems deliver maximum stiffness and the lightest weight for performance, downwind, and race programs. Both are built for salt-water use.

  • Are your foil systems compatible with standard board tracks?

Yes. The top plate mounts to standard dual US foil track boxes , the same interface used on our custom foil boards , so board and foil can be sold as a matched set.

Yes. We offer full private-label production: your logos, custom graphics, and branded export packaging — so the system arrives ready to sell under your brand.

  • Do you offer private label foil systems?

  • What are your MOQ and lead times?

MOQ is no required. Sample development is [15 days], and mass-production lead time is 30 days after sample and artwork approval. Timing varies with construction, order mix, packaging, and production schedule.
